Out of Deep Waters

Even though I don’t date and am not frequently faced with situations involving sex, having the pregnancy care center people come to youth tonight was really solid, because there was a lot of focus on commitment. And one can’t invest completely and totally in everyone they know, but I feel like it was such a refresher to be reminded to be patient with and offer grace to those I have chosen to invest in. Because I want to commit to them, be they friends, family, or, above all, God. Except he doesn’t need grace, but you get the idea. At the end of the day, these are people who are constantly extending grace to me, and being patient with me, and I owe it to them to give that in return, and giving that in return is what leads to solid friendships and familyships and Godships. Those are not all real words.
