Lesson of the day: observe “slow” signs; people will come out of nowhere, and, before you even see a thing or know what’s happening, you’ll be on the ground.
I had one ski gone, a helmet seriously shifted, goggles off, and my glasses smushed up my helmet. My mum figured I must have broken something, but, actually, it was painless.
